Girl power squad

LOglIne

It is not easy to talk to vulnerable young people about abuse and sexuality. Consequently making them aware of teenage pimps is incredibly challenging.

With the new prevention tool Girl Power Squad (short: GPS), Child Focus makes it possible for young people and their supervisors to discuss teenage pimps in a gentle way. The aim: to prevent victimization of teenage pimps.

With GPS, young people and counselors are challenged with the method to guide a fictional peer through a toxic relationship. It was very interesting to create four fictional characters and their story for this experience and invite players to think about confidential counselors, how to set boundaries and  bear the consequences of choices made for their characters.
